Ram N. Gupta



Ram N. Gupta is the President and CEO of Future Technologies, Inc. (FTI). He founded FTI in 1992. As President and CEO of FTI he has managed the company’s growth from a start-up firm of one employee to one with over 200 employees and annual revenues of about $25 million. Mr. Gupta has a M.S. in Business from Kurukshetra University, and an M.B.A. from George Mason University.

Fernando Pereira, Vice President for Future Technologies, Inc. (FTI), is a prior US Army Engineer Officer with 12 years of military service and over 22 years of management experience in the defense industry and Federal Agencies.  Fernando is responsible for business development of IT Services in the Federal Sector. Fernando graduated from Columbia College with a B.S. in Business Management in 2005 and later in 2008 with an M.B.A. from Webster University.

Karl Cooke

VICE PRESIDENT - navy business division

Karl Cooke serves as the Vice President for Navy Business at (FTI) and leads the largest sector across the company. A retired Naval Aviator with over 28 years of military service and a Corporate executive with over 20 years’ experience in the Defense Aerospace Industry, he retired with the rank of Navy Captain in 2014 after serving on the Joint staff in the Pentagon. Karl is responsible for business development, capture, teaming, and engineering pursuits at FTI, primarily in support of the Navy customer. He graduated A.B. Magna Cum Laude from Wabash College in 1986. Additionally, he received his M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University in 1994, and subsequently also earned a M.S. from the National War College in 2004. He is also a graduate of Dartmouth Tuck School of Business Executive Program in 2014. Prior to his tenure at FTI, he served as the Corporate Director for International Programs with the Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Charles Parker

VICE PRESIDENT - Logistics Services

Charles W. Parker, III, Vice President of Logistics Services for Future Technologies, Inc. (FTI), has over twenty years of management and risk consulting experience serving US and international clients. He also recently retired as a Captain in the Navy Reserve, after multiple overseas deployments and commanding officer tours and being activated to serve in senior positions with major Department of Defense commands such as the Defense Logistics Agency and the Naval Supply Systems Command. Charles is responsible for FTI’s business development in logistics services. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Yale University (cum laude) and an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Chicago (with honors) and holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

Jay Kasi

Controller & Director of Operations

Jay manages the day-to-day accounting and financial operations. He is responsible for the executive management of the company’s contracts and Human Resources Department. He joined FTI in July 1997. Prior to joining FTI from 1988 he worked as Cost Analysis Manager for EER Systems, which was bought by L3/GSI and was responsible for the proposal preparation and interaction with DCAA. He worked as Division Controller for Systematic Development Corporation from 1985 – 1988 responsible for contract management and program control. He holds a Graduate Degree in Finance from Mary Mount University, Arlington, VA and a Graduate Degree in Economics from Madras.
